It is our pleasure to host Ventilation 2006—the 8th International Conference on Ventilation. The event will be held concurrently with the American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Exposition (AIHce), May 13-16 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Participants of Ventilation 2006 and AIHce 2006 will have access to both conferences with their registration. Participants of VENT 2006 are encouraged to stay for the full AIHce week.
The series of international conferences on ventilation began in Toronto in 1985 and continued in London (1988), Cincinnati (1991), Stockholm (1994), Ottawa (1997), Helsinki (2000), and Sapporo (2003).
The goal of VENT 2006 is to bring together prominent researchers, designers, equipment suppliers, engineers, practitioners, and government officials to explore the latest developments in ventilation-related emission and exposure controls.
VENT 2006 will provide the ideal setting for the exchange of technical information and methodologies. Technical papers and roundtables will provide useful new information. Case studies will relate the experiences of those applying ventilation controls. The exposition offers a venue for equipment suppliers and vendors. The event will be useful to a wide spectrum of participants, will enhance efficient application of ventilation controls, and will strengthen international partnerships.
