FRIGAIR is the only exhibition representing all aspects of the HVAC/R industry. Held every three years, the exhibition is also endorsed by South African Airconditioning Suppliers Association (SAASA), South African Fluorocarbon Association (SAFA), Refrigeration & Airconditioning Empowerment Forum of SA (RAEFSA), SA Refrigerated Distributors Association SARDA, Airconditioning and Refrigeration Industries Council of SA (ACRICSA) and the South African Refrigeration & Airconditioning Contractors Association (SARACCA). Other bodies are currently being approached to endorse.
Frigair will adopt a new approach in 2007 by holding workshops within the body of the exhibition area and the National Skills Competition will be held in the same hall for the duration of the exhibition. The winner will represent South Africa at the World Skills in 2008.
This "all embracing" approach brings together the whole industry and offers both exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to:
Exhibit and keep up to date with the new products, services and technology
Network with players in the industry
Attend informative workshops
See the cream of the technicians at work to win the National prize
The FRIGAIR Workshop will bring top speakers to share of their knowledge and practical experience in the Southern African and African context.
HVAC/R activity is not confined to any particular area of the country/continent but touches every member of the population from a safety, health, energy and environmental point of view.
Primary industries such as, Mining, Construction, Manufacturing and Agriculture together with the secondary industries all have a need for refrigeration, cooling, ventilation, air conditioning and heating. Whether it be chillers or packaged systems or refrigerated transport or handling of perishable products or cooling/conditioning the tiniest room to the largest building to stores / shops to healthcare / medicine and the list is endless.
Heating, Ventilation, Airconditioning and Refrigeration are an integral part of life. Equipment and the design of the most efficient system for a particular application are ever changing.
FRIGAIR 2007 offers the ideal opportunity to be brought up to speed with such developments.
This "all embracing" environment has proved to be the most effective method of communicating the HVAC/R message.
