EcoCool’10 Conference, a symposium dedicated to energy efficiency in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, will take place on the 16th September 2010, Budapest, Hungary, and it is being organised the European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE), the European industry association, together with the Hungarian trade bodies HKVSZ and MKT.
The event will commence with a political segment, where representatives from the European Commission and the Hungarian Government will present their priorities and goals regarding increased energy efficiency and reducing emissions in refrigeration and air conditioning.
The second part of the symposium will be dedicated to technical topics and will consider solutions to decrease the carbon footprint of supermarkets and feature a presentation of an eco efficiency study carried out by the British consultancy SKM Enviros. Additional topics will include domestic refrigeration, building technology, and heat pumps.
The final segment of the EcoCool symposium will be dedicated to the role Hungary plays as a location for refrigeration production sites and sustainable production.
