“The second edition of Chillventa Rossija has more than lived up to our expectations. The very positive feedback from the exhibitors and trade visitors shows us that our focused concept for Chillventa Rossija has met the needs of the Russian refrigeration and air conditioning market,” says a delighted Frank Venjakob, Director International Exhibitions at NürnbergMesse. 5,925 trade visitors (13 per cent more than the previous event) sourced information in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow about components, products, systems and current industry trends with a focus on industrial and commercial refrigeration. 130 exhibitors, half of them from abroad, welcomed the visitors to intensive talks. The conclusion of the exhibiting companies, which covered the entire product spectrum of refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps for commercial and industrial applications, is excellent: 98 per cent rate their participation in the exhibition as a success. The date of the next Chillventa Rossija has already been fixed and the industry meets again in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow from 5–7 February 2013.

“We are very satisfied with the outcome of the exhibition. We are pleased with the outstanding commitment of the exhibitors and the positive feedback from the visitors, which shows that our technical orientation of the exhibition is right. The good mood on both sides is the result of the accuracy with which Chillventa Rossija brings together supply and demand in the Russian market. Here the exhibitors meet their target groups. The visitors find a spectrum of products at Chillventa Rossija in a focused and comprehensive form that is not to be found anywhere else in Russia,” explains Venjakob. The manufacturers presented components, products and systems with improved technology for increased energy efficiency in all product segments. In the Heat Pump Pavilion, Chillventa Rossija 2012 concentrated the pioneering heat pump technology for which experts expect appreciable market growth in Russia too.

Exhibitors and visitors delighted with professional standard
The exhibiting companies were satisfied with the course of the exhibition: 98 per cent of the exhibitors said their participation in Chillventa Rossija 2012 was a success. 98 per cent also rated the high quality of the visitors favourably. Approximately 20 per cent of the visitors were from board level, another 15 per cent from senior management and also 15 per cent from management positions. Mauro Bonfanti, Sales Manager, Officine Mario Dorin SpA, stresses: “Chillventa Rossija is a great opportunity for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. We are convinced that its presence in Russia and the professionalism of the visitors helps us in our activities in Russia and the neighbouring countries.” Andreas Martin, Marketing & Sales Manager, Sapa, adds: “The exhibition was well organized and the halls were full. This year was the second time we have exhibited – with an excellent response.” The visitors were also delighted: 97 per cent rated the event as a success, 90 per cent said they were very satisfied with the products on display at Chillventa Rossija. They made many new business contacts.

High degree of internationality
The second Chillventa Rossija continued the success of the outstanding premiere with a large share of international exhibitors and visitors. The exhibiting companies came from 16 countries; besides Russia, mainly from Germany (19 exhibitors), Italy (12 exhibitors) and the Czech Republic (8 exhibitors), but also from many Asian countries, headed by the People’s Republic of China (12 exhibitors). The three pavilions from Germany, the Czech Republic and – for the first time – from China were real attractions for the visitors. They offered them the ideal opportunity to obtain an overview of the innovative power of the exhibiting companies. The Who’s Who of international refrigeration and air conditioning exhibited at Chillventa Rossija 2012. They included companies such as Danfoss, Friterm, Güntner, Honeywell, Nord-SM, Ostrov, Thermofin and Viessmann. The visitors from altogether 33 countries contributed to the successful overall picture of the event.

Accompanying conference provided expert knowledge
The Chillventa Rossija Congressing programme with top speakers concentrated on knowledge transfer between professionals. With 46 papers, the conference programme accompanying Chillventa Rossija networked Russian and international experts from science, administration, sales, engineering and industry. The presentations focused on the energy efficiency of components and systems and the Russian market for refrigeration and air conditioning systems.The whole conference programme is available online at:

Successful cooperation to be continued
NürnbergMesse and co-organizer Ost-West-Partner will also cooperate closely with the following associations and institutions for the third Chillventa Rossija from 5–7 February 2013: APIMH, ALTENIT, EPEE, EPHA, Eurammon, International Academy of Refrigeration, NAEVI, Russian Energy Agency (REA), the Russian Union of Refrigeration Industry Enterprises (ROSSOYUZHOLODPROM) and VDMA.
