• Russia’s only exhibition for refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps • CholodExpo Rossija becomes Chillventa Rossija 2011 • New on board: Ost-West-Partner

Chillventa Rossija 2011 gets under way in Moscow
Chillventa Rossija celebrates its premiere in Russia from 1–3 March 2011. The International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps, which takes place in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow, is based on the exceptionally successful concept of Chillventa in Nürnberg, which developed into the world’s leading exhibition from scratch in 2008. Chillventa Rossija presents the only industry platform in Russia that reflects refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps at professional level. In this concentration, it is a real highlight on the Russian market and unique.
“We have carefully listened to feedback from our exhibitors in the past years at CholodExpo and at Chillventa in Nürnberg in 2008. We have organized CholodExpo successfully in Moscow twice. Now it is time to redefine and exploit the potential in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps in Russia,” says Petra Wolf, Member of the Management Board and Executive Director International Operations at NürnbergMesse.

The project is also confirmed by the exhibitors’ wish for a clearly defined and focused professional event for the Russian refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sector. “It was obvious that we should adapt the extremely successful Chillventa concept to the Russian market and involve partners in Russia,” says Wolf. The Russian refrigeration and air conditioning community has a new home starting in 2011: Chillventa Rossija.

And the prospects of success for Chillventa Rossija are very good. First there is the exhibitors’ wish for a professional exhibition in this sector. Second the economic experts also see an upturn in the Russian economy. In the magazine Russland aktuell, banking house Merrill Lynch states that 3.9 per cent growth can already be expected in the Russian market in 2010. The magazine quotes presidential advisor Arkadi Dworkowitsch as believing that the economy will reach the level of 2008 again as early as 2011 or at the latest 2012, and that inflation could drop to below 8 per cent.
