There’s news to report on Chillventa Rossija, the Russian Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps. Chillventa Rossija celebrates its premiere in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow from 1–3 March 2011, when a good 140 exhibiting companies from 16 countries present their products for three days. The share of international companies is just as large as the share of Russian exhibitors. A special highlight is the international conference with top speakers: Chillventa Rossija Congressing, which runs parallel to the exhibition.
“I am delighted with the response from the industry, which shows me that enormous interest exists in both your country and worldwide and once again confirms the idea and concept of this unique event. In my view, we can already speak of a successful premiere for Chillventa Rossija, at least as far as the exhibitors are concerned. The 140 exhibitors cover all segments of the world of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps,” says Petra Wolf, Member of the Management Board of NürnbergMesse. The list of exhibitors at Chillventa in Moscow reads like the Who’s Who of the international refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sectors, with key players such as the following: Emerson Climate, Alfa Laval, Zanotti, Frascold, Eliwell, Karyer and Gökceler. The companies from Russia that have booked include Thermocool, Ostrov, Morena, Quadrotek and Olex Holding.
“Chillventa Rossija has been developed especially for the Russian refrigeration and air conditioning industry and is based on the exceptional concept of Chillventa, the leading exhibition in Nürnberg, which was very successful in October 2010. Chillventa Rossija was presented to the international experts again at Chillventa in Nürnberg and attracted an excellent response. I am sure Chillventa Rossija will become an established key meeting place and dialogue platform for the Russian refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump community and clearly show the way ahead for the future,” say the project managers of Chillventa Rossija, Meike Krüger of NürnbergMesse and Liudmilla Drosdova, Ost-West-Contact, Moscow.
Concentrated information at Chillventa Rossija Congressing
Another highlight at this event is the first-class conference with top international speakers: Chillventa Rossija 2011 Congressing. Experts from all over the world share their know-how with the conference audience and update them on current trends and developments. The conference covers a wide range of topics from the relevant segments of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps and deals with current developments in Russia and internationally. The conference participants can look forward to interesting presentations by Russian and international scientists and company representatives, for example, from the EPEE European Partnership for Energy & Environment, the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment, various Russian universities, and Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin and Danfoss, to mention only a few.
The future also has its say, when young specialists present their solutions in a special conference section on the third day of the conference and exhibition. The main topics here include: “New technical solutions in ammoniac refrigerating machines for small store houses and chambers”, “Research into dynamic characteristics of steam compressor refrigerating machines with mixed refrigerants” and “Vacuum process for obtaining the lamellar structure of aqueous ice”.

German and Czech country pavilions
Two countries present their exclusive visiting cards in the exhibition halls with compact displays in pavilions: the Czech Republic with 11 companies, including EM Polar, Hotjet, ProjectSoft and REMAK. Germany is represented with 32 well-known international exhibitors, including companies such as Ziehl-Abegg, Bitzer, GEA, Honeywell, Bock, Teledoor, Güntner, Teko and Armacell.
Unique in Russia – the Chillventa Rossija portfolio
The integrated concept of Chillventa Rossija is shown graphically in a circle diagram. This clearly shows that the heart of Chillventa Rossija is refrigeration with its components and systems. The range of products is more extensive than at any other exhibition throughout Russia. Starting from the refrigeration cycle, the diagram uses a few examples of applications to illustrate how widespread the various themes are anchored in everyday life and at the same time form the basis of Chillventa Rossija.
The classic users are commercial and industrial refrigerationand air conditioning, but the exhibitors at Chillventa Rossija also offer relevant components for transport refrigeration and domestic refrigeration. Heat pumps are to be regardedas the ideal addition and already represent the future of refrigeration.
